Privacy Policy

The details below cover what we collect, how we use it, how requests work, and where regulated care workflows introduce additional privacy obligations.

Scope of this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how ZYNDIO collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit the site, create an account, use the quiz, place an order, request support, or move into a program that may involve clinician review, pharmacy dispensing, lab services, or other fulfillment steps.

When we say ZYNDIO, we mean the ZYNDIO website and related member experiences. This policy applies to information collected through this site and related services unless a separate notice specifically says otherwise.

Some treatment paths may also involve independent clinicians, pharmacies, laboratories, payment processors, shipping providers, analytics vendors, email or messaging platforms, and other service providers. If one of those parties collects information directly from you or provides regulated healthcare services, that party may also apply its own privacy notice, professional obligations, or legal requirements.

Adults and minors

ZYNDIO is intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your state or jurisdiction if older, to use the site, create an account, submit a quiz response, or attempt to purchase a program through the platform.

We do not knowingly design the site for children or knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information through the site, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to review the issue and remove information when appropriate.

Information we collect

Depending on the path you choose, certain programs may also require additional intake, eligibility review, prescription handling, lab coordination, or clinician-directed follow-through. Information related to those workflows may be collected directly by us, by a platform provider acting on our behalf, or by the licensed provider, pharmacy, or lab involved in that program.

  • Contact and account information, such as your name, email address, login records, session records, support messages, and account-linked identifiers.
  • Quiz and recommendation information, such as your structured answer selections, consent timestamps, category preferences, and the product or consult path associated with your recommendation.
  • Order and transaction information, such as products viewed, product selections, billing or shipping details, order identifiers, checkout metadata, payment status, fulfillment state, and customer support history.
  • Device and usage information, such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referral source, pages viewed, timestamps, approximate location derived from IP, and interactions with site features.
  • Communications data, such as emails you open, customer support inquiries, magic-link sign-in requests, and service messages related to account access, orders, shipping, refills, or program updates.

Protected and treatment-related information

The browse and quiz experience is designed to stay lightweight. The quiz is intended to narrow a starting path, not to serve as a complete medical record. Even so, once you move into a regulated program, consultation, prescription path, or other care workflow, additional health-related or treatment-related information may be collected, reviewed, or stored as part of that process.

Not all information you provide through ZYNDIO will be treated the same way under every law. Some information may be treated as ordinary customer or account data, while some information connected to clinical review, prescription handling, laboratory services, or medical records may be subject to additional legal or contractual requirements. If a licensed provider, pharmacy, or laboratory is involved, their own notice or legal obligations may also apply.

When information you submit becomes Protected Health Information (PHI) under the federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), it is handled by the affiliated clinician, pharmacy, or laboratory acting as a covered entity, and ZYNDIO may act as a Business Associate to that provider. For details about the use and disclosure of PHI, your patient rights (including access, amendment, accounting of disclosures, and restrictions), and how to file a privacy complaint, see our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices at /hipaa.

How we use information

  • Operate the site, member dashboard, sign-in flow, and program browsing experience.
  • Process recommendations, account access, support requests, checkout, payment, fulfillment, and order updates.
  • Coordinate with clinicians, pharmacies, laboratories, logistics partners, and fulfillment partners when a selected path requires those services.
  • Personalize site content, category suggestions, program recommendations, and post-purchase communication.
  • Send transactional or service-related messages, including sign-in links, receipts, shipping notices, refill prompts, support responses, and account or security alerts.
  • Improve the platform, monitor performance, analyze usage trends, detect fraud, prevent misuse, and troubleshoot operational problems.
  • Comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms, protect our rights, investigate suspicious activity, and preserve records when necessary.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information in the ordinary sense of selling a customer list. We may share information with service providers and business partners that help us run ZYNDIO and complete the workflows you request.

We may also use or disclose de-identified, aggregated, or otherwise non-personal information for analytics, benchmarking, planning, operational reporting, and business improvement purposes.

  • Infrastructure and platform providers that support hosting, storage, authentication, analytics, monitoring, and customer operations.
  • Payment processors, fraud tools, and order-management providers needed to complete transactions and reduce payment risk.
  • Email, messaging, and customer-support vendors used to deliver sign-in links, service messages, and support communication.
  • Clinicians, pharmacies, laboratories, shipping providers, and fulfillment partners when your selected product or treatment path requires them.
  • Advisors, acquirers, successors, or counterparties involved in a merger, financing, reorganization, sale, or other business transaction.
  • Law enforcement, regulators, courts, or other parties when disclosure is required by law, legal process, or a good-faith need to protect users, the platform, or the public.

Transactions and payment processing

If you complete a purchase, payment information is processed through payment providers and other commerce vendors used to authorize, complete, and protect transactions. We may receive order records, billing status, shipping details, and limited payment metadata needed to support the transaction, but card processing may also be governed by the policies and security controls of the payment processor involved.

Order records, receipts, chargeback records, refund activity, and support interactions linked to a purchase may be retained as part of our financial, fraud-prevention, customer-service, and compliance operations.

Cookies, analytics, and similar technologies

We use cookies, pixels, local storage, session identifiers, analytics tools, and similar technologies to keep the site running, remember session state, measure site performance, understand traffic patterns, improve the user experience, and evaluate which product or quiz paths are working.

Some of these tools help us understand how visitors use the site over time, which pages perform well, and how visitors move from browsing into sign-in, checkout, consultation, or support workflows. Your browser may allow you to block certain cookies or clear stored data, but some site features may work less well if you disable them.

Your choices and communications

You can choose whether to submit information through the quiz, create an account, begin checkout, or move into a consult or regulated program path. If you do not provide certain information, some features or services may not be available.

You may opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link included in those messages. You may still receive service and account communications, including sign-in links, support responses, security alerts, checkout updates, shipping notices, refill reminders, and other operational messages. If you need help updating your information or communication preferences, contact us at hello@zyndio.com.

Privacy requests and browser controls

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of certain personal information, or to ask us to limit certain processing activities, subject to legal exceptions and verification requirements. To make a privacy request, contact us at hello@zyndio.com and include enough information for us to understand and evaluate the request.

Your browser or device may also offer tools to block cookies, clear local storage, or send privacy preference signals. Where applicable law requires us to honor those controls for specific data practices, we will do so. Disabling browser storage or tracking technologies may affect how portions of the site function.

Retention

We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the site, maintain accounts, provide support, complete transactions, coordinate treatment-related workflows, comply with legal or financial recordkeeping obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, whether an account remains active, whether a treatment path involved clinicians or regulated service providers, and whether the information must be preserved for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, or operational reasons.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. No system can promise perfect security, and you should use care when choosing devices, networks, and passwords or account credentials.

If you believe your account, email access, or sign-in link has been compromised, contact us promptly so we can help investigate and secure the relevant access path.

Third-party sites and services

ZYNDIO may link to third-party sites, services, or tools that we do not control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review their policies before sharing information with them.

U.S. use and data processing location

ZYNDIO is intended for use in the United States. Information collected through the site may be stored, processed, or accessed in the United States by us or by service providers working on our behalf. By using the site, you understand that your information may be handled in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those of other jurisdictions.

Related notices and provider-specific policies

This Privacy Policy works alongside other notices that may apply to specific workflows, including checkout disclosures, consent flows, clinician or pharmacy notices, laboratory instructions, or state-specific privacy disclosures. If a particular program or provider gives you a more specific notice for a regulated service, that notice will apply to the information collected in that context in addition to this policy.

If you want to make a privacy request, ask a question about this policy, or appeal a privacy decision where applicable, contact us at hello@zyndio.com. We may need to verify your identity before processing certain requests.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the site, our practices, the programs available through ZYNDIO, or applicable law. When we update the policy, we will revise the page and post the updated version here. Your continued use of the site after an update means the revised policy will apply going forward.
