DEXASCAN × ZYNDIO

You already have your DEXA. Now put a doctor behind it.

From Scan to Plan connects your DEXA results with physician-led GLP-1 care, lab checkpoints and a follow-up scan, so you can see whether you're losing the right weight.

The problem

The scale can't tell fat from muscle.

Two people can lose the same 30 pounds. One loses mostly fat. The other loses a big share of muscle. The scale calls them identical.

On GLP-1 medication, this matters. When appetite drops and you eat far less, some weight can come from lean muscle without enough protein and strength training. Muscle supports your metabolism, your strength and your independence as you age.

Your DEXA already sees the difference. Most weight-loss care ignores it.

The solution

From Scan to Plan: measure, plan, act, measure again.

DEXASCAN and Zyndio built one connected loop around you, so your scan, your labs and your physician aren't in three different places.

How it works

Six steps, one connected loop

  1. Patient organizing a printed health report beside a laptop at home

    Bring your scan

Connect your existing DEXASCAN results to your Zyndio account. No scan yet? Book one at a DEXASCAN location near you.

  2. Patient completing an online health assessment on a laptop at home

    Complete a short health assessment

100% online. A few focused questions about your health history.

  3. Physician reviewing patient results on a monitor in a modern office

    Get a physician review

A board-certified physician reviews your health history and decides whether GLP-1 treatment is appropriate.

  4. A plain care package opened on a hallway table at home

    Start your plan

If prescribed, medication is filled by a U.S.-licensed pharmacy and shipped free to your door.

  5. Patient relaxed in a bright clinic waiting area during a lab check-in

    Check in with labs

Lab work at about 3 and 6 months shows how your body is responding.

  6. Patient leaving a bright wellness studio with a results folder after a follow-up scan

    Scan again

A follow-up DEXA shows fat lost, visceral fat change and muscle kept.

Frequently asked

Can I use the DEXA scan I already have?
Yes. Your existing DEXASCAN results connect to your Zyndio account. No scan yet? You can book one at a DEXASCAN location near you through the same flow.
Will I definitely get a prescription?
No. A licensed physician decides whether treatment is appropriate for your health history and your state's rules. A prescription is never automatic.
What's the difference between semaglutide and tirzepatide?
Semaglutide acts on GLP-1 pathways. Tirzepatide acts on GLP-1 and GIP pathways. Your physician decides which, if either, fits you.
Are these medications FDA-approved?
Zyndio's medications are compounded by U.S.-licensed pharmacies. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved.
What are the side effects?
Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, stomach discomfort and decreased appetite. People with certain histories, including medullary thyroid cancer, MEN-2, pancreatitis, pregnancy or breastfeeding, may not qualify.
Do you take insurance?
No. Zyndio is cash-pay and doesn't bill insurance. You can request a receipt; reimbursement depends on your plan.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Cancel future refills from your account or through support before the next shipment. Medication that has shipped can't be returned.
Is it available in my state?
Availability varies by state, and some states require a live video visit. Check Zyndio's state availability page.
Is a DEXA scan safe?
DEXA uses a very low-dose X-ray. Pregnant individuals should not have a DEXA scan.
Who sees my data?
Your health information is handled under Zyndio's HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices.
