Educational content vs medical advice

Information published on ZYNDIO — including blog posts, FAQs, category pages, product descriptions, quiz output, and email newsletters — is provided for general educational and informational purposes only. It is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Reading content on this site does not create a physician-patient relationship. A physician-patient relationship begins only when an independent board certified licensed medical doctor affiliated with the platform accepts you for evaluation and treatment.

No diagnosis or treatment via blog or marketing content

Nothing on this site should be interpreted as a diagnosis or treatment plan for any individual. Articles, comparisons, and category descriptions discuss medications and conditions in general terms. They do not consider your full medical history, allergies, current medications, contraindications, or other personal factors that an evaluating physician would weigh.

Always seek the advice of a board certified licensed medical doctor with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition, medication, or treatment. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read on this site.

Individual variation

Responses to medications, supplements, and treatments vary widely among individuals. Studies, references, and patient-experience information cited on the site describe averages or general trends and are not predictions of how a specific person will respond. Side effects, contraindications, drug interactions, and clinical outcomes can differ based on dose, duration, comorbidities, genetics, lifestyle, and other factors.

Consult a board certified licensed medical doctor

Before starting, stopping, or changing any medication, supplement, or treatment plan — including any product or program described on this site — consult a board certified licensed medical doctor who can evaluate your individual situation. If a program on the platform involves physician review, prescription handling, or laboratory services, those decisions are made by independent licensed providers based on your intake and history.

A physician affiliated with the platform may decline to prescribe a requested medication, may recommend a different course of treatment, or may determine that telehealth is not appropriate for your situation. These determinations are clinical decisions, not commercial ones, and the platform supports physician independence.

FDA status of compounded medications

Some programs available through the platform may involve compounded medications. Compounded medications are prepared by a licensed pharmacy to meet the needs of a specific patient based on a physician's prescription. Compounded medications are not approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in the same way as commercially manufactured medications. The FDA does not verify the safety, effectiveness, or quality of compounded products before they are dispensed.

Compounding is permitted under federal and state law when a board certified licensed medical doctor determines that a commercially available product is not appropriate for a particular patient and a licensed compounding pharmacy prepares the medication accordingly.

Off-label use

A physician may, in their professional judgment, prescribe an FDA-approved medication for a use, dose, route of administration, or population that is not listed in the FDA-approved labeling. This is commonly referred to as "off-label" use. Off-label prescribing is a legal and common practice in the United States and is permitted when supported by clinical judgment and applicable standards of care.

Off-label use is not the same as a use that has been proven safe and effective by the FDA for that indication. The physician will discuss expectations, risks, and alternatives with you when off-label use is part of a recommended plan.

GLP-1, compounded, and off-label categories

The launch site focuses on GLP-1 weight loss care, including semaglutide and tirzepatide information. The regulatory status of medications and compounded preparations can vary by product, patient, state, and current federal or state guidance.

Where a product is described in general educational terms, that description is not a representation that the product is appropriate, available, or legal for any specific person. Eligibility, clinical appropriateness, and program acceptance are determined as part of the intake and physician-review process for each individual.

No emergency or crisis services

The platform is not for emergencies. If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency or mental health crisis, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department immediately. Do not rely on this site, the quiz, the chatbot, or any pending support, intake, or program request for urgent care.

Reliance and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ZYNDIO disclaims responsibility for any decision a reader makes in reliance on educational content available on the site. Your reliance on any information you read on the site is at your own risk. The platform's broader limitation-of-liability terms, governing law, and dispute-resolution language are set out in the Terms of Use.
